kidding aside I will try to do a little rundown of what happened in recent weeks (and with photos please!)

Where to start ... it's a bit scattered lately ... Christmas is coming and we really want to go in good conditions. So the most important thing was to finish the roof insulation. So we worked hard on behalf of the D. .. rock wool! It stings, it burns the eyes and it clutters up the nose. But we see the end (for what is the first dense layer of 7 cm), the second layer of 21 cm to be after Christmas I think.
I let you admire the installation of these semi-rigid plates held with "it-can" (a small wire that normally serves to raise the son of electrical ducts but rather is there to cut fingers and that is put aside because "it can still serve." And then in this case it is the "it-can ').





Oh yes the way I forgot to say that before asking this ... Mr. rockwool was stuck with Joel joints of sheet Tyvek (rainscreen) to avoid the maximum air intake through the roof. Finally, it took much less time than I thought (one day).

Okay so the news is rather good: the under-roof insulation is making great strides although it stings the eyes, throat, neck, hands and everything, fucking rockwool (thank you to Uncle Jules and Matthew), electricity is on track (Christian and Joel are working hard), Joel and Patricia began the bulkheads down (on one side) to can begin to install junction boxes, ducts and switches.

More straw for!

Last Saturday was a celebration of music, the first day of summer and coatings!
Big weekend, although tiring, but super fun ...

large garbage cans, a barrel, buckets, plastic sheeting, floats, a drill with a mixer, trimmer, shears and full of hands ...

The bins we used to:
- straw crushing
- soak the clay
- do mixtures (Base coat and base coat)

The barrel:
- supply of water (it takes a lot)

Buckets:
- transporting mixtures to the walls

Tarps:
- how the mixture earth / straw strands for the largest holes

The floats:
- to avoid falling too often ...

The drill with the mixer:

We also solved the problem of the round window by a frame wood. Our electrical conduit drowned in coatings, and we made our first barbecue on the terrace, in short, a weekend rather efficient and less frustrating than electricity!

Regarding the atmosphere on the yard, always so relaxed, I let you enjoy the pictures!
